A well-educated professional who has been contributing to the field of substance abuse for over 15 years, Lee D Weiss is currently associated with a chain of centers called Elev8 Centers. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Elev8 Centers. These centers are dedicated to helping individuals in fighting all sorts of drug addiction. Before he started working here, he gained experience by working with a lot of reputed firms and organizations. Talking about his educational background, Lee Weiss from Boston has received his degree in business administration from the University of Maryland and a few executive educational courses at Harvard and MIT.
He started his career at an early age. He joined the Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group in New York City in the year 1993, and over a period of 10 years, held three different positions – Financial Advisor, Branch Manager and the Managing Director. Later, Lee went on to join the Fidelity Brokerage Company’s Senior Management Team and become the Founding President of the Fidelity Investment’s Family Office Business. He was a part of the Fidelity’s Brokerage Audit Committee and the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund too. Lee has also owned Broker Dealers, Registered Investment Advisors, Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds.
For a short period of time, Lee D Weiss has also worked at the Blackmere Partners. He has also managed several investment businesses in Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Cayman and the United States. His responsibilities as the Chief Executive Officer of Elev8 Centers include leading the healthcare practice, developing effective business strategies, establishing strategic acquisitions, developing business development strategies, and managing the growth through operational effectiveness.
In order to give back to his community, Lee Weiss serves on a number of philanthropic boards as well including the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
